Auchen Castle Hotel Terms and Conditions
- Please note that accommodation can be held on
a deposit of £40.00 per room per night basis.
- A cheque can be sent to ‘Auchen Castle’ Accounts
Department or please ring Reservations with your
Credit/Debit Card details.
- If you require a
receipt please advise Reception at the time of
booking.
- A booking confirmation will be sent to
you noting the deposit paid.
- Cancellation on single
room bookings is 48 hours. If you contact us to
cancel please
obtain a cancellation
Reference Number and we will return your
deposit. In instances where a cancellation has
not been
followed and we have held a room and no
one has arrived, a
full room charge will be made.
- We operate
a door policy for our guests’ safety
of 12PM midnight. Should you wish to
arrive after this time please contact Reception
to advise
them, otherwise there could be a delay
when checking-in.
- Reception hours are 7AM to
11PM Monday through Sunday.
- Dogs are not allowed
at the Hotel except for guide dogs.
- Due to numerous
period features and antiques at Auchen Castle,
parents are requested
to supervise their children at all
times.
- Meal Times are; Breakfast 7:30AM
to 9AM daily – Lunches
12 - 5PM, Dinner 7 – 9PM
daily, Room Service Menu also available.
- Check-in time is after 3PM, Hotel Check out time is 10.30am, Hotel room check out is 9.30am - alterations to
these times may
be available
by prior arrangement and availability.
- At
check-out payment can be made by cash, credit/debit
card
or cheque,
however
cheques
can only be accepted
to the value of the cheque guarantee
card.
- A surcharge for the handling of credit cards will be automatically charged of 3.5%. No handling charges are applied to Switch or Delta cards.
- The hotel will only accept
children that have a registered
child minder
to supervise
them should
the total number exceed four.
Details of registered child
minders can
be given to
you from reception.
The arrangement for supervision
must be made via the event
organiser. The hotel
adopts
this policy
to ensure that all guests have
a
pleasurable and relaxing stay
at the hotel. Maximum
numbers of children
we can accommodate on any group
booking can be gained from
your wedding co
coordinators.
- No outside alcohol
can be brought onto or consumed on
our licensed
premises. No
exceptions
of any kind
are made in this regard.
The hotel will charge the bridal
account
automatically or individual
guest should
this policy not be adhered
to.
- The hotel reserves the
right to charge full room
tariff
should we
not be able
to re sell
the room
due to any of the following.
- Smoking in a non smoking
room.
- Breakages rendering the
room incomplete to resell
to another
guest.
- Specialist room cleaning
including carpet shampooing
required.
- Any additional
charges made to a bill due to items
being
missed or damages
will be charged
later on
the original card used
to confirm your booking.
- The hotel reserves the right to cancel a
booking.
Where
this is the
case as much notice
as possible will be given and where
appropriate written
reasons can be requested
as to why this was
necessary.
- Rooms
are on a request only basis and can
not be guaranteed.
We may
need to amend
your
booking
details. If ever
we do we will try to give
as
much
forward
notice as
possible.
We may
take the opportunity to update our terms
from time to
time, it is
the customers
responsibility
to check any updates
or at any time
an updated terms
and conditions
can be obtained
through our reception
